Invoicing
Iteration Layer generates customer-facing invoices after Stripe confirms payment. Stripe remains the payment processor, but the invoice PDF you download from Iteration Layer is the invoice record we issue for your organization.
Downloading Invoices
Invoices are available from the Billing page in your dashboard after payment is confirmed and the PDF has been generated.
To download an invoice:
- Open Billing.
- Use the invoice download link in the invoices section.
If a payment has just completed, invoice generation may still be in progress. Refresh the Billing page after a short delay if the download link is not visible yet.
Tax Treatment
Iteration Layer issues invoices under the IGIC tax regime as the business is established in the Canary Islands. The following tax rates apply:
| Customer location and type | IGIC rate |
|---|---|
| Canary Islands customers, B2B or B2C | 7% |
| B2C customers outside the EU | 7% |
| All other customers | 0% |
Canary Islands Customers
Customers in the Canary Islands are charged 7% IGIC. This applies to both businesses and consumers, regardless of the presence of a tax ID.
B2C Customers Outside the EU
B2C customers outside the EU are charged 7% IGIC because Canary Islands IGIC rules tax these consumer services at the issuer’s location. This is required by law under the tax treatment that applies to our customer-facing invoices.
All Other Customers
All other customers are invoiced at 0% IGIC. This includes EU customers outside the Canary Islands and business customers outside the EU.
How Invoice PDFs Are Generated
Invoice PDFs are generated from structured invoice records with the Document Generation API.
